Truth. Goodness. Beauty
You hear it all the time during the 4 years of college being in a sorority... Being a sister is more than just 4 year, it's for life! This little saying has never felt more real than it has after graduation from CNU and going alum from the best sorority Gamma Phi Beta (just a little biased hehe). Having the opportunity to be a part of my sweet sisters' big days have been so special to me! I am a few years older than Claire so we didn't have a lot of time to get to know one another during college, but her sister Katie (also a G Phi) and I were good friends so I was extra happy when she told Claire to reach out about me doing her bridal makeup. Working with sisters is like hanging out with a sweet friend and having these connections right away! I just love it! Claire was extra prepared and had her makeover trial months before her originally planned May 2020 wedding, but because no-one could have seen Covid-19 coming she had to change her original plans and date. Luckily the makeover look didn't have need change! For the trial makeover and wedding we did a natural golden eye with hints of brown in the crease and a soft Urban Decay lip. Her skin was FLAWLESS so we decided to go with a traditional makeover using Merle Norman Cosmetics Lasting Foundation (perfect for wedding days, especially if it's hot!) You can see her Before and After photos at the end of this post. Claire, it was a joy getting to celebrate you! Let's relive some of my favorites from the day!
