2/11/2019 0 Comments Happy Love DayValentines Day. A day to celebrate those you love and make sure they know it! A day for couples to be gushy and besties to celebrate friendship too! Like HELLO Galentine's Day, can I get an amen?! We put all of this effort and attention into making sure those people in our lives know they're valued, and we should! We should never let a day go by without them knowing how loved and appreciated they are! But have you ever stopped and thought about you on Valentine's? That's right! Maybe not officially declaring that you're your own Valentine, but treating yourself as if you were? So often we can get caught up into the hustle and bustle of the holiday and loving others we forget about loving ourselves. Sometimes it's just easier to love other people though, ever felt like that? I know I have. We forget to love ourselves. We forget to appreciate our bodies and brain and all the wonderful things they do for us! Anyone else thankful they could get out of bed thing morning and talk to all those people you love? Is it hard to love yourself sometimes? You bet! Like when the pants you've been trying to fit into for the past month still don't zip and all you want to do is raid the candy aisle? Or when your skin isn't perfect and blemishes keep coming out of nowhere! (as a makeup artist with people constantly looking at my face, this is a big one for me) Or maybe it's a conversation you had recently that wasn't very kind to the other person and it left you feeling terrible? Whatever it is that has you feeling down or feeling unlovable it's just not true! Those things don't define you or how much love you deserve. If you made the mistake, fix it. If you've got a goal, keep going after it! So this Valentine's Day in addition to loving on your favorite people, I encourage you to love yourself too! Do something to celebrate YOU and all you've accomplished!! You are loved! You are valuable! You at totally worth celebrating! Live loved today my sweet friend! Jor
